Spore, a new world or gaming, literally

Have you seen this yet?

This is Spore. Spore is an interactive PC game that allows you to create creatures of all kinds and send them into a fully automated world. Through evolution your creature will get a chance to evolve from a cell in a drop of water, to a crawling creation of your choice, to finally a deep space explorer.

Brought forward by the creator of the widely know Sims enterprise, creator Will Wright has made a sort of dream come try. Apparently this game has been in development for a little over 7 years and is now hitting the market full swing (as of September 7th 2008).

The uniqueness of this game is that fact of creation you can make. The creation abilities are almost endless as you work through the different stages in life collected evolutionary body parts to incorporate onto your creature. It is said that you could play this game for a very long time and not encounter the same creature twice while starting the game over several times, say 100 times or more.

The most unique ability of the game is the space exploration mode where you can take your creature and send them out into space to cultivate and explore other planets and start a new world.

Spore also has an online community based assortment behind it as well where you can add friends who play Spore to your page and view creation they may have developed. While on the community site you can view over 20,000,000 creation loaded world wide (as of Sep 25, 2008). The whole idea that you might actually see a creation you viewed on your online Spore page later in the game is a possibility and a real mind blowing experience.

Check the top link for my beginning Spore page.

DSA, do you know what it is?

The DSA is the "Direct Selling Association" they are responsible to keeping independent contractors who own their own businesses compliant. They work directly with every company who has the rights to sell a product directly to the consumer.

The DSA guides each individual contractor or company by a commitment to ethical practices and consumer services. Under these rules participant must pledge to abide by the set code of standards the DSA applies. While these standards are not harsh rules, these standards insure proper business relations between both the consumer and the seller business.

The DSA Code of Ethics which is used is not connect with any member company and is applied and enforced by an independent administrator. The Code administrator is also responsible, and has the power over, possible remedies applied to any complaints to satisfy everyone involved is a matter should arise.

Interesting Thoughts:
Did you know that the number of Americans who work as direct sellers has nearly doubled over the last 10 years? To approximately over 15.2 million as of 2006?
It's no wonder that they majority of companies are turning to Direct Selling as an option for trades markets.
Most work part time, yet have options to go full time.
Everyone can be successful.
Direct selling offers MANY products, direct you without up charges many storefronts may apply.

The world of Direct Selling can be a wonderful place to for those who choose to understand it.

July 4th weekend from hell

Well after the server was down at my online school Thursday, this girl I know, who is a really good friend of mine, and I went out on her jet-ski Saturday early around 10. Around 4 PM a large storm was coming in, we were 30 miles out or so near an island called North Captiva (hurricane Charlie separated this island). While we were trolling out to start to head back in, she turned too sharp in the channel rolling the jet ski. That ended up flooding something in the engine because it wouldn't start. So we got stuck out on North Captiva at a friends house for the rest of the night after they came and towed us back to the house. The storm hadn't let up until 8 PM or so ruining our chances of getting home. Summer rains in Florida. We had no supplies or change of cloths. Would have been a perfect time to do school work if this house we were at had a computer and I had my book for school.

It gets better.

So Monday rolls around and I'm ready to go with everything when I get home from work because Sunday was a loss after spend much of the day get back to our homes doing house chores for the week to come. I have to make up some business cards on the fly at Staples. Turns out they need to keep my jump drive (USB port drive that saves computer work) to run off the cards for Tuesday's pick up. I guess we should have asked and they should have informed us about that before hand. So here it is 5 days partially wasted while trying to enjoy a weekend for a change. Now I have a heck of a lot of catch up to do.

Hope the rest of your 4th's were better then mine

A new wave of Jobs! Home-based!

As the economy becomes harder on the average person living the average lifestyle. People must find other means of income. This is where the home business market is growing faster then the average college student can graduate.

Home based businesses just make sense. You can write off parts of your house, electronics, vehicle, and merely shopping for groceries or cloths can be a marketing run where you can write off your mileage. This is something every business owner has always known and something that schools can not teach the average person.

For generations people have been taught they require a good education to get that top job. Well...what happens when that top job is no longer secure? So many people no longer have those top jobs because budget cuts have cost them their great jobs. Schools can never teach people to be rescission leery so we all must learn this on our own. However must fail before they find their way out.

I have seen this first hand with people losing their jobs in our local city government. The state can't afford to pay them, so those people get "retired" early settlements. Most of the settlements only last about a year or two, most last less then that as compensation. I don't see that as far.

Home based businesses are the waves of the future. Nothing can compare to the benefits you can receive from owning and running your own home based business. Your own hours, your own income, and no set hours just for starters. The best part of them all, some offer website that do most of the work for you.
For a small monthly fee that everyone must pay in the beginning, which can be waived over time, pays for all the people you don't see who do most of the work you may not understand. It's actually really simple and easy if you just do some leg work to promote your new business. Tell others naturally and they will gain interest into what you are doing, its just like how any name brand becomes popular, word of mouth advertising.

If you are reading this, here are some choice interests you need to look at today!
Here are two that I have recently reviewed!

Dog eating Coyotes

So in our local area we have coyotes. Nothing new to wildlife I suppose, however we don't live out in the plains of Arizona here. It's pretty marshy and wet most of the year with the exception of drought season.

So I hear through the grape vine that people are getting there dogs eaten by these coyotes. Well what did you expect? As we take the coyotes land away, the are left with less to hunt. So your dogs become prey. It only makes sense in a survival instincts kind of way.

So I also now hear that people are walking around with guns to protect themselves and their dogs. Well...a coyotes is fast. Chances are you will miss and end up hitting something else. Also, what happens if a police officer finds you with a non-permitted weapon? What then?

Personally I think that if you took out a bat, stick, golf club, or other long blunt type object, you should be fine. No need for a gun. I would say defend yourself as best you can. Coyotes are more afraid of us then we are them, that is true no matter how you look at it. Then call your local catching service to see what they can do for you.

The perfect job?

What would your perfect job be?

I find this a pretty hard question to answer myself actually. Most people may find this question rather simple to answer or easy for them. Some would say a firefighter because their parents were and they are influenced by that line of work and so fourth. Maybe some say a doctor, because they know they will be helping others and that is what they wish to do. Many people who love animals become veterinarians for that love of animals.

However for me I find this a very hard question to answer. As I do not have a single interest in what to do in life but rather many. I want to be an array of different things in life or partake in different lines of work over time. However how does someone go about doing an array of things if we are only taught to become one single thing? In other words you go to school to be a doctor, that is your occupation for the rest of you life. You would not then leave and start new as a carpenter because you just would not have that knowledge base and would have to learn many new things to survive. Also the pay scale would be much different and you would have to change your lifestyle.

I had always thought I knew what my perfect job would be, however now that I am older I think differently now about enjoyment and how to make money with that enjoyment. You have to have an emotional interest in your job and appreciate what you are doing. You also have to make a good living doing what you are doing. If you are completely happy that's one thing, but if you are dead broke in that job, then I would suggest you find something else because the happiness will fade. Also if you make a ton of money but truly dislike what you are doing, then how can you be happy with that career choice?

These are things I don't think they teach us in schools. Find a rewarding career and enjoy what it is that you are doing. In school they merely teach us that you need a good career that makes a lot of money. Whatever happen to happiness?

Stock Talk, the carelessness of people.

Ok let's talk a little bit about stocks.
I have been investing in the stock market for about two years now in the form of a 401K plan option. 401K plan options are basically a stock portfolio that is comprised of trusted companies which generally show a return of investment. These 401K companies offer you basically the advise of a stock specialist without the high cost.

Ok, so let's elaborate for a second. Ask many of your fellow colleges who don't watch or pay attention to their own stock accounts. What do they say? I found that in my own current office many lost money, lots of money. Many people in my office loss anywhere between a thousand to ten thousand.

Now if your like me and you really don't make that much money at your 9-5 or 7-4 in my case, you would pay attention to what your money is doing for you right? Your damn right you would. So I was playing around today in my 401K account...when did the stocks start to crash? Around January right, or roughly. Well as I was using my rate calculator I found out that since December of last year, I had made a 4.3% return on my money, which means I made a profit.

So let's see here, I made a 4.3% return, while others had a -10% or higher loss, hmm. Do you think I know what I'm saying when I say watch your stocks? The carelessness of people and their money.

Do you want to know how Rich you will be?

Many dream about how rich they will be in the next Ten Years. Sometimes we are allowed to dream and think about it, but then reality hits us in the head, right back to where we are now. However wouldn't it be cool if there was a test to tell you a little more?
This test may be completely fictional, but it's worth a shot at looking into just for fun and dreams anyways. This test has 15 questions that randomly test you. Whether or not they have a unique partern to raise your ending number is beyond me.
However if you'd like you can take the test yourself here Take the Test
This is what I scored

15,501,849

How much money will you be worth?

See if you can play with the answers to get a higher or lower score then the first time you take the test. Pretty neat huh?

Cancer Upon Continuation

Seeing how I live in the above 50 primary resident section of Florida. I want to hit on a note that is far too familiar with people in our community. This may be common and uncommon both at the same time with all age groups. I myself have had involvement with these issues in family relations since I was 18 myself.

What if you went to the doctor, or read an article one day about something which you do on a regular basis and found out it could cause. Would you continue it, or would you leave it after that day? I have heard many times people speak of things they do on a daily basis which has been test studied and proven to cause cancer, yet they continue to do these things. Some say it is habit or because they feel the need for it.

So I ask this:

Is it something which keeps you alive, like air, water, or nutrition?

If this item does not fall into those 3 primaries, then it is most likely something which you do not need.

People may think that I am talking about smoking. Which can be incorporated, much like the sun in Florida. However the primary thing I am talking about is much smaller then those, and yet everybody has used at least once in their lives or know someone who does.

Coffee additives

Coffee creamers and sweeteners can cause you harm. They are artificially made. Anything which is artificially made for ingestion is most likely going to be bad for you not matter how you conceive it to be. When one person mentions that they must have their coffee, I just don't understand.

Don't get me wrong, I myself have coffee, one cup a day during the week. I do not feel the need to have this during the weekend as I have more time to myself and more sleep to manage with. For most people, normal requirements or coffee would fall into the category of one or two cups a day. Any more then this and you may have an addiction. Also if you must use an entire box of sugar additives, you may have a problem.

I'm am not doctor or physician, however I do know a lot about health. Before its too late, consult someone who can accurately determine your problem.

Courtesy on the Rodes

It has come to my attention that many people agreed with me on the last entry of the local traffic and those of us who don't use turn signals. It just makes sense. We all drive around this area like maniacs. Everyone is in a rush it seems.

So lets elaborate on the local traffic. Those of us who use our signals, seem to get cut off or not let it. While others simply just cut over across lanes or through traffic to get where they want with the use of signals and almost cause an accident. I think this is the driving style which many people here will agree with. If a person uses their signals, we should have the courtesy enough to let that person over. That person has at least shown us that they intend to move over so we should let them over.

I say if you use your signals, you show me that you want over, your not trying to cut me off, or driving with aggression. So I will let you over. With some common courtesy we make better drivers. People get to where they want to go, we avoid traffic accidents and everyone gets to where they want. We all win!

Social circle, I believe, plays a large role also in the way we drive. One might also agree that the higher the pay scale a person climbs, the more aggressive they become on the rode. As if they don't care if they wreck there expensive vehicles. While people may not be equal based on skill or intellect in a room, we are essentially all the same on the rode and subject to the same possible outcomes from driving. A 100,000 vehicle is subject to the same possible damage as a 20,000 one. While the more expensive vehicle may sustain less damage in a wreck, it can't avoid and accident based on price. That is until the industry develops a vehicle that drives itself.

Thanks to those who commented on my previous input, you have touched me to write my opinions again.

"I'm on a Diet"

How many times a day do you here this? Once, twice, three times maybe? Well if your like me and you work with people of a certain gender, then you hear this in almost every conversation which is spoken. Day in and day out, its all about the diet and how to loose weight.

Do you know what the funny thing here is? While they may all be on a diet, they all go to fast food restaurants at lunch and drink soft drinks, now how is that a diet? I just don't understand people. Refined foods and high fructose corn syrup are NOT good for you.

I remember a study I seen once about how this person did a study on the decay factor of fast food from a fast food restaurant and the food from a real restaurant.
See it here
Fast Food Study
The craziest video I've ever seen in my life.

So you choose, regular food, or processed food?
Its up to you to decide which you would rather sit in your stomach.

Use of Turn Signals

Use your turn signals!

This isn't hard to do is it! However you lazy people out there don't use them. So how is the person in the next lane over going to know that you are moving over to avoid driving into the side of your vehicle? By using your signals.

I almost got hit the other day because this guy in a large van did not use his signal. I used mine, I looked and as I moved over, he did the same. However the difference here is this: I had my signal on, if he had even looked he would have seen my signal and chose not to move over, also if he had used his signal himself, I would have not almost hit him as he rushed over into my lane.

So day I was driving and there it goes again. Someone moving into another lane without using there signal while a person in the opposite lane does the same. So one person gets mad and feels cut off. Well...if each of you had used your signals, none of this would have happen.

Quit driving in the dark people! Open you freakin' eyes and use your signals!

The use of the turn signal:
Did you know that it is ILLEGAL, yes ILLEGAL (in state of florida) to change direction without indicating your signal prior? I think it should be illegal to change lanes without indicating your intentions by using your signal. This law would probably save lives or at least your vehicles.

So might I ask you, "What is the point of a turn signal that doesn't get used?" Nothing...turn signals there aren't being used are pointless. Why do you think the car manufacturing industry added them to vehicles, so you have yellow lights?

Worlds Largest Swimming Pool

World's largest swimming pool, AMAZING!
The largest swimming pool in the world is the San Alfonso del Mar seawater pool in Algarrobo, Chile. It is 1,013 m (3,324 ft) long and has an area of 8 ha (19.77 acre), it was completed in December 2006.

The idea was to build a pool using a unlimited supply of water, salt water. This concept keeps costs down while providing a vast building opportunity. The salt water provides an impressive artificial paradise. Plus you can actually see to the bottom, unlike most bodies of water from the ocean.
The pool is so big, that one person could be enjoying the sun while somewhere else someone is sailing or kayaking!

Wonder if they would bring small fish and reefs into this pool in the future?

Dreams, Thought, and Mind

What are dreams? They can be of many things. Your imagination of your perfect life or what happens when you sleep even a fascination come true. However I think the real key point to this is, how do you follow your dreams?

Some of us just get lucky, we dream about something and something really great happens or our lives change for the better without much effort. Then some people try and try without much to show for chasing their dreams. What causes this difference? Is there something that some people have that others do not?

I believe these results are strictly caused by the power of thought and of the mind. Taken from history and examples of what has happen through my life and through others based on results proven, I believe this to be true. Although I can not explain my examples here, without people labeling me, I can however work in the privacy of my own mind to form my conclusions.

Our imaginations get weaker as we get older, or should as say, as we start to understand what the world is and how cruel it can be. We loose our dream thoughts and replace them with junk from the media and world that surrounds us. If all day if we sat in a box without interruption from the outside world, we probably would go mad before we were to create something great. However, most of our former geniuses were considered a little on the weird side, ahem, Einstein.

Gas prices email

So I get this email today about gas prices please read:

"THIS IS NOT THE 'DON'T BUY' GAS FOR ONE DAY, BUT IT WILL SHOW YOU HOW WE CAN GET GAS BACK DOWN TO $1.30 PER GALLON.
This was sent by a retired Coca Cola executive. It came from one of his engineer buddies who retired from Halliburton. If you are tired of the gas prices going up AND they will continue to rise this summer, take time to read this please.
Phillip Hollsworth offered this good idea. This makes MUCH MORE SENSE than the 'don't buy gas on a certain day' campaign that was going around last April or May! It's worth your consideration. Join the resistance!!!!
I hear we are going to hit close to $ 4.00 a gallon by next summer and it might go higher!! Want gasoline prices to come down?
We need to take some intelligent, united action. The oil companies just laughed at that because they knew we wouldn't continue to 'hurt' ourselves by refusing to buy gas . It was more of an inconvenience to us than it was a problem for them.
BUT, whoever thought of this idea, has come up with a plan that can Really work. Please read on and join with us!
By now you're probably thinking gasoline priced at about $2.00 is super cheap. Me too! It is currently $2.98 for regular unleaded in my town.
Now that the oil companies and the OPEC nations have conditioned us to think that the cost of a gallon of gas is CHEAP at $1.50 - $1.75, we need to take aggressive action to teach them that BUYERS control the marketplace..not sellers.
With the price of gasoline going up more each day, we consumers need to take action. The only way we are going to see the price of gas come down is if we hit someone in the pocketbook by not purchasing their gas! And, we can do that WITHOUT hurting ourselves.
How?
Since we all rely on our cars, we can't just stop buying gas. But we CAN have an impact on gas prices if we all act together to force a price war.
Here's the idea: For the! rest of this year, DON'T purchase ANY gasoline from the three biggest companies ( two of which now are one), EXXON, MOBIL and CITGO If they are not selling any gas, they will be inclined to reduce their prices.
If they reduce their prices, the other companies will have to follow suit. But to have an impact, we need to reach literally millions of Exxon and Mobil gas buyers.
It's really simple to do! Now, don't wimp out on me at this point...keep reading and I'll explain how simple it is to reach millions of people!!
I am sending this note to 30 people. If each of us send it to at least ten more (30 x 10 = 300) ... and those 300 send it to at least ten more (300 x 10 = 3,000)... and so on, by the time the message reaches the sixth group of people, we will have reached over THREE MILLION consumers .
If those three million get excited and pass this on to ten friends each, then 30 million people will have been contacted! If it goes one level further, you guessed it...... THREE HUNDRED MILLION PEOPLE!!!
Again, all you have to do is send this to 10 people. That's all! (If you don't understand how we can reach 300 million and all you have to do is send this to 10 people)
Well, let's face it, you just aren't a mathematician. But I am so trust me on this one. How long would all that take?
If each of us sends this e-mail out to ten more people within one day of receipt, all 300 MILLION people could conceivably be contacted within the next 8 days!!!
I'll bet you didn't think you and I had that much potential, did you! Acting together we can make a difference. If this makes sense to you, please pass this message on.
I suggest that we not buy from EXXON/MOBIL UNTIL THEY LOWER THEIR PRICES TO THE $2.00 RANGE AND KEEP THEM DOWN. THIS CAN REALLY WORK. "

The reason I believe this will not work:
How many stations do Exxon/Mobile/Citgo run under a hidden name?
How many stations do they supply?
How much of the industry is funded by our own government?
Shell with GTL the next one of the leaders?
One should research each station to determine where they are getting there supplies from.
We can't just assume that Exxon/Mobile/Citgo are to blame for everything.

Dubai

This is just crazy!

Dubai in 1990

The same street in 2003

Last year

The madness. Dubai is said to currently have 15-25% of all the world's cranes.

The Dubai Waterfront. When completed it will become the largest waterfront development in the world.

All of this was built in the last 5 years, including that island that looks like a palm tree.

The Palm Islands in Dubai. New Dutch dredging technology was used to create these
massive man made islands. They are the largest artificial islands in the world and can be seen from space. Three of these Palms will be made with the last one being the largest of them all.

Upon completion, the resort will have 2,000 villas, 40 luxury hotels, shopping centers, movie theaters, and many other facilities. It is expected to support a population of approximately 500,000 people. It is advertised as being visible from the moon.

(see top photo)

The World Islands. 300 artificially created islands in the shape of the world.
Each island will have an estimated cost of $25-30 million. /\

The Burj al-Arab hotel in Dubai. The worlds tallest hotel.
Considered the only '7 star' hotel and the most luxurious hotel in the world.
It stands on an artificial island in the sea.
Hydropolis, the world's first underwater hotel.
Entirely built in Germany and then assembled in Dubai,
it is scheduled to be completed by 2009 after many delays.
The Burj Dubai. Construction began in 2005 and is expected to be complete by 2008.
At an estimated height of over 800 meters, it will easily be world's tallest building when finished. It will be almost 40% taller than the the current tallest building, the Yaipei 101.

This is what downtown Dubai will look like around 2008-2009.
More than 140 stories of the Burj Dubai have already been completed.
It is already the worlds tallest man made structure and it is still not scheduled to be completed for at least another year.

The Al Burj. This will be the centerpiece of the Dubai Waterfront.
Once completed it will take over the title of the tallest structure in the world
from the Burj Dubai.
Recently it was announced that the final height of this tower will be 1200 meters. That would make it more than 30% taller than the Burj Dubai and three times as tall as the Empire State Building.

The Burj al Alam, or The World Tower. Upon completion it will rank as the world's highest hotel. It is expected to be finished by 2009. At 480 meters it will only be 28 meters shorter than the Taipei.

The Trump International Hotel & Tower, which will be the centerpiece of one of the palm islands, The Palm Jumeirah.

Dubailand. Currently, the largest amusement park collection in the world is Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, which is also the largest single-site employer in the United states with 58,000 employees. Dubailand will be twice the size.
Dubailand will be built on 3 billion square feet (107 miles^2) at an estimated $20 billion price tag. The site will include a purported 45 mega projects and 200 hundred other smaller projects.

Dubai Sports City. A huge collection of sports arenas located in Dubailand. Currently, the Walt Disney World Resort is the #1 tourist destination in the world. Once fully completed, Dubailand will easily take over that title since it is expected to attract 200,000 visitors.

The Dubai Marina is an entirely man made development that will contain over 200 high-rise buildings when finished. It will be home to some of the tallest residential structures in the world. The completed first phase of the project is shown. Most of the other high rise buildings will be finished by 2009-2010. The Dubai Mall will be the largest shopping mall in the world with over 9 million square feet of shopping and around 1000 stores. It will be completed in 2008.

Ski Dubai, which is already open, is the largest indoor skiing facility in the world. This is a rendered image of another future indoor skiing facility that is being planned.

Some of the tallest buildings in the world, such as Ocean Heights and The Princess Tower, which will be the largest residential building in the world at over a 100 stories, will line the Dubai Marina.
The UAE Spaceport would be the first spaceport in the world if construction ever gets under way. The Dubai Metro system, once completed, will become the largest fully automated rail system in the world.
The Dubai World Central International Airport will become the largest airport in size when it is completed. It will also eventually become the busiest airport in the world, based on passenger volume. There are more construction workers in Dubai than there are actual citizens.

Information provide by anonymous email supplier, bulk mailer.

Do something good for the environment

How did you spend your St. Patty's holiday weekend? I bet you went out and got drunk, well good for you.

I spent my Sunday, over the holiday weekend, planting a tree. Our house has an old fashion clothesline which needed to be removed. It was the old steel kind and probably hasn't been used since the dawn of creation. Seems the wasps liked this dinosaur piece of lawn furniture too.
What should have been a 15-30 minute removal process turned into about 3 hours instead. The wasps had obviously created a net inside of the metal tubing and didn't like me messing with their home. I had to redirect attention quite often while working around them. I knew it wouldn't take much to remove. However I can tell you, that cement footer was heavier then I expected.

What once was a clothesline, was now a gaping whole in the ground. After some thought of how to fill this hole, the thought of planting a tree crossed my mind. I tend to eat a lot more fruit then I used to. Who would have thought finding a fruit tree at a nursery would be such a pain. After spending 30 minutes looking and driving, $54 dollars later I had myself a tree.

A days work of grueling digging and back breaking heavy weights. I have a nice Florida sun burn and a beautiful tree. Hopefully with my care and maintenance, this time next year I will be able to enjoy the fruit harvest.

Pet Idol Contest 2008

Well if you didn't already know, there is a contest for the local Pet Idol. Basically its a competition of regular homeowners and their pets. Pets can be anything you imagine. Domestic cats and dogs, to farm type animals (yes there was a horse) and even exotic animals (not a contestant but there was a skunk).

The second round for the Pet Idol Contest took place last night at the Coconut Point Mall in Estero Florida. The stage was setup back behind Hemingway's Grill and Paganelli Cucina near the man made lake. It was a great night with lots of participants and even pedestrians who came to watch the show.

I actually had a chance to sit down and chat with the couple with the skunk. This skunk, named Oreo, is a domesticated skunk. People actually breed them for household owners. They are de-glanded (the smelly gland is removed when young) and raised in the house so that they are familiar to their surrounds. Because they are house breed, these animals do not have the primal instincts as they wild counterparts. Very cute and cuddly in a relaxed environment. In fact it was told to me that there are only around 16-18 state which allow skunks to be home pets. With a little research and prospect owner can obtain a magnificent exotic pet within in reasonable time and cost.

I don't know so much about having a skunk myself, however our families pet was in the contest. Mr. Whipple is my mothers dog. He is a Dachshund with very unique coloring and history. At about a year old, he had lost all his hair and turned 50% white. We call him the reverse raccoon dog because he coloring is reversed from that of a raccoon.

Cars that Drive themselves

http://www.myembarq.com/news/news_reader.php?storyid=15715526&feedid=222

If not basically it talks about how cars we drive themselves in the near future. Having an option to be manually driven at times. This vehicles would relay on communication from several different sensors and devices.

Imagine that. You can still drive to work and take a nap in the AM until you get there. However it does take the "fun" out of driving. But wait! Cut down accidental vehicle crash related deaths? Yes, I think it would. People are the ones who make stupid decisions in their motor vehicles, not the vehicles. The vehicles can't get up in the AM half asleep and assume they can control themselves. They simply start, and run till turn off again. Or can they?

This new vehicle system would probably revolutionize travel. No more grumpy highways drivers pissed that they have to drive 9 hrs. Or road rage because some ahole cut you off. Police would be able to actually do there job to serve and protect then to eat donuts clocking speeder.
To the people who are bad with directions. This article also mentioned something about the vehicle having a GPS type of device that would allow the vehicle to drive itself to the destination.

No more getting lost or "Blond moments" for many drivers.

Lakes Park 31st Festival of Wheels

So today was to be the Lakes Park 31st Annual Festival of Wheels located in the park. If anyone knows about this show it is put on every year in February. This show has been a huge hit with enthusiasts and lovers of cars for many years and is hard to forget when at its best.

Sadly, this year the show was a total bomb. There was probably about a third of the vehicles that normally show up and the pedestrian attendance was very low compared to normal. As a former car show attendee and forever future enthusiast, this outcome saddens me. I remember, under different management, how HUGE this show had become. It was by far one of the area largest with a lot to offer.

A way out of the chaos. This was the first time new managing members setup this show. I think they just needed a little more help advertising this in the paper and elsewhere. I personally are on the mailing list of show so I never miss any of them, unless otherwise working or doing something that I had not finished early that same week. So I arrived rather late today, around 4 o'clock or so. Meet up with my good friends in the circuit, Roger Burwell (owner of the 2002 PT Cruiser many have seen) and Steve Fladung (owner of a 97' Mustang with vertical doors). As I was arriving, the both of them were packing up. This show was to go on until around 6 pm tonight, however it seemed to end early.

As a member of the SWFL PT Cruiser I like to see what the buzz is in and around the local circuit. There will definitely be some buzz about this last car show hands down. I felt it was a very poorly laid out strategy this time around in the marketing of this show. Most of the shows support some form of local charity, this is basically an incentive for pedestrians to view some magnificent cars that have had many hours spend on creating, modifying, or preserving their heritage.

Bloggings

Blogs, well, simply put, blogs. Blogging is harder then it looks. Most people believe that you simple write down things that would be found in your journal. This is not true. People want something that they can read and learn from, not just some short history.

Look at the best blogger, most are willing to provide a little bit of information into hey they are doing it. The rest that lie and tell you that you can't make it are afraid of competition. Simple put, write about something you know about and don't fake anything.

That is the key to a blog which people will read and come back to read more about. Make use of your time to accurately do something with yourself in a blog. Just don't ramble about anything unless that is your blog format.

MLM and Network Markets

Ok, so what do you know about MLM and Network Markets.

Jack! That's what you know.

The biggest Network market on the face of this earth is your JOB. You work 50+ hrs a week for HIS benefit, not yours. Ooo, you get benefits and insurance and 401K plans. While he banks a few million because he pays you 15 and hour. I used to work in sales and offices, ok, I seen the big proposals ok. So you can't tell me he isn't a rich person that could right fully pay you what you should receive for doing all the work. Go to college for 7 yrs and train on the job for experience for another 10 yrs to only make 65k a year. Sorry but if I had done this in a network market, I would be making well over a million a year.

Huh, you think you know network markets. The only way you learn them is by using them and failing at all of them until you realize the potential of the one good one this is meant for you. Just like most jobs are not for everyone. Network Markets are not for everyone either.

Do you know why most MLM fail? That's because people don't work at them. This things are wonderful if you work them. People say its too hard, its take too long, well it may in the beginning. However if you stick it out, you will be rewarded. Look at any entrepreneur on the market today, they stuck it out in there own markets and have all done very successfully.

Learn the business or choose to sit on your butt all day. Its up to you really. People follow leaders, not peons.

Advertising and Network Marketing

Advertising

So what is advertising?

Commercials on TV? Billboards on street sides? Buses with murals on them?
Sure all of these things are advertising. But this is commercial advertising at its finest. Ranging from a few hundred thousand to over a billion a year for some companies. Last time I checked, this isn’t in my budget.

However, many of us forget just how much advertising we do as people. How often have you talked about your favorite restaurant or movie theater or shoe brand? We speak of these things on a daily basis in some cases, word of mouth advertising. We have all done this before and this is how a business grows. One friend to another friend to another friend and so on, it’s endless.

Network Marketing

Network Marketing is no different. You simply network with people to better their understanding of a products service. I like this store because, its as simple as that or, I really enjoy this places whatever.

OH NO! It’s another Network Marketing scheme! No, it’s your favorite restaurant. I just simply told you about it and now you eat there. What? Is this true? Yes! Starbucks anyone?
Look at your partaking in anything. It was originally based on interest, then word of mouth by a friend. Now look at you, you are either in that place right now, or using that service. It’s not a scheme, its well planned Network Marketing.

So you don’t think it’s a scheme huh, or you do? Which is it? It doesn’t matter, what matters is you pay someone for something else which you value as a product or service. Ranges from anything from coffee, to a new car. They make a profit while you pay or offer your time. The world revolves around network markets. It’s that simple.

Driving with idiots

People need to learn how to drive. OK I use my peripheral vision to see ahead of me while driving, this way I can avoid a possible incidence before it happens. I see the traffic ahead so that when I decide to switch lanes, I will not be running into the person in front of me in do so. Not always will this work if the vehicle in front of you if very large, however I still try.

It makes me sick to see some person who rides my tail in a larger vehicle, then races up around me to gain a single car space because the rest of the traffic around is not moving any fast. It takes more gas and puts more wear on the vehicle to do this. I suppose this drivers like to shell out more money by doing this.
