I loosely touched base on this earlier in a few of my blogs about savings on daily food requirements.
Well here it is again.
I typically go to the groceries once every week and a half to restock on my lunch varieties. Often at times I notice and pay close attention to prices at my local super market. I normally buy the super market brand products for this reason, as typically they are cheaper then the name brands.
For instance I notice Cookie Crisp cereal was $4.49 for a box of 12.5 oz, when my normal super market brand resemblance cereal was only $2.59.
Do the math, that is a $1.90 savings.
Does seem like much does it? At first!
It comes out to about $80 dollars a year. $80 a year could be a trip to a amusement park or road trip to somewhere you have been looking to go to recently.
I recently took a 400 mile trip and it cost me less than that to get there and back.
With a short trip to the your local super market and some price checking, you yourself will notice a load of saving when you purchase the correct items. Also, never forget to grab the ad and get yourself some coupons.
